
Jocelyn Canfield, ABC, is principal of Communication Results, a full-service communications firm in suburban Philadelphia, PA. An accredited business communicator through the International Association of Business Communicators, Jocelyn has more than 20 years of experience in writing, graphic design and managing business communications projects and issues. Her client experience spans dozens of industries with local, regional and global reach.
Jocelyn has competencies in all aspects of communications, including conceptualizing communications campaigns and tools, writing, graphic design and project management. She strives to support organizational change by using communications as a tool to increase employee buy-in, change behavior, achieve corporate goals and ultimately impact company earnings and reputation.
In previous positions, Jocelyn was Communications Manager for AmeriGas Propane, where she started a communications department. She was also Senior Communications specialist for UGI Corporation, PR Coordinator for Magee Rehabilitation Hospital, Account Executive for a PR agency, was Managing Editor for Camperways magazine and she wrote for two newspapers. Jocelyn has also taught communications at the college level and offers training in communications and creativity.
To support her profession, Jocelyn has been on the board of the Philadelphia Chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) for more than 15 years, serving as the organization’s President and most recently helping other communicators achieve professional accreditation.
Jocelyn was accredited through IABC in 1998. She holds a BA in Journalism from Temple University and took graduate courses at Beaver College in Glenside, PA. She attended the Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro, NC and has continued her education through attendance at hundreds of seminars.
She has won numerous awards for her work, which has been featured in magazines and textbooks on communications. Jocelyn also is a nature photographer and has had her work exhibited and printed in a variety of media.
