Creative Director Bio
Jocelyn Canfield, ABC, is an accredited business communicator through the International Association of Business Communicators. She has more than 25 years of experience in both creative services and in managing business communications projects and issues. Her client experience spans various industries with local, regional and global reach.
Jocelyn has competencies in all aspects of communications, including conceptualizing communications campaigns and tools, writing, graphic design, photography, art direction and project management. She strives to use communication as a tool to achieve corporate goals, increase employee buy-in, change behavior, support organizational change and ultimately impact company earnings and reputation.
In previous positions, Jocelyn worked in communications management for a global energy company, held a PR and creative services role in a hospital, was an agency PR account executive, was managing editor and designer for a camping magazine and
wrote for two newspapers. She also taught media writing at the college level. She enjoys coaching individuals to higher levels of performance, particularly those in creative professions.
To support her profession, Jocelyn served on the board of the Philadelphia Chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) for more than 20 years, serving as the organization’s President, as Accreditation Mentor and as the chapter’s Social Media Coordinator.
Jocelyn was accredited through IABC in 1998. She holds a BA in Journalism from Temple University. She attended the Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro, NC and has continued her education through attendance at dozens of seminars.
Jocelyn has won numerous awards for her work, which has been featured in magazines and textbooks on communications.
